The trout action is just about to bust wide open here in SAB! Had the pleasure of fishing for trout with the Chevron Houston’s, Jose R party today.

We were concentrating on shell in SAB while drift fishing. We were throwing Brown Lures “Devil Eye” and Berkley Gulps. We could not make a stop without catching 10 to 20 trout. The action was non stop! Tons of undersize trout mixed in with the keepers. We decided to call it a day with the customers deciding to keep 14 for dinner.

Capt. Kris Kelley fished the Bryan L. party today out of the airboat. They found limits of Reds in the backcountry working bait while keying in on sand potholes.
