Port O'Connor Fishing Reports

While bay conditions have been on extreme low water, we're already getting a bounceback with the Southerly wind directions and increasing velocity.

The fish are presently located on soft bottoms over mud/grass which is a classic early Spring pattern. Exactly how long they'll hold there remains to be seen.

Water levels have finally dropped out to seasonal norms and everyone is commenting on how low it is at present.

Capt. Chris Cady lit up the fish airboating with Richard R. and guests while Capt. James Cunningham worked the fallouts with fast action on fish pushing the upper edge of the slot.

We're getting a grip on the calendar as we push "all in" into fishing now that duck season is closed. Between, you, me, the fish, and a fence post I think we're going to have to figure out where we are on the calendar "seasonality" wise.
