Capt. Braden managed some solid Trout numbers coming off scouting intel before dialing in a little late the Redfish Rodeo led by Capt. Kolten.

We haven't got to the point tipping point on water temps as of yet to put the fish in the holes and deeper bayous but we know it's looming.

The top water bite was good until mid-morning then changing over to soft plastics seem to do the trick."

Capt. Kolten Braun lit them up with live shrimp letting me know at 8:00am that full limits were on board and they were looking for Trout and Black Drum.

Capt. Braden Proctor lit into the Redfish with Drew W. and sons. Capt. Donnie Heath had covered a lot of real estate on an early trip and found sluggish action over mud/grass venues

Our guides have been keying on bait activity in and around birds but the fish are driving it showering out of the water which is all we need to see.

Redfish continue to jockey for position over mud/grass with schools moving on water levels changes and wind shifts. The latest front wasn't near the catalyst for a strong feed as the previous but it still had guests busy working drags and having a ball.

Flounder Gigging Wade gigging proved less affective than Flounder Boats that were able to located fish in soft and bottomless bayous where the fish had congregated.

ournament Reds have been in abundance, fish pushing right at the 28" mark, and that's made for lots of drag burning runs taking our equipment to the limits.

We'll be looking for big winds out of some direction to really start to set things up for strong feeding catalysts ahead of and through weather systems. Periods of instability right now can make for some memorable trips and great days.
