Some wade fishing guests worked the flats with fly rods over the weekend shooting at Redfish shallow over/mud grass. One guest mentioned he was surrounded by fish in the middle slot and he was overcome with "Redfish Fever". That'll happen in that game similar to "Buck Fever". Capt. Donnie Heath mentioned when the guest got back to the boat he said "that was so intense, man I'm smoked"! On this day, there weren't any great stories of massive runs or drag burning into the backing. Guests mentioned the fish would nose up to the offerings only to turn and run and that's just the way it goes. Capt. Chris Cady reported fair action on Redfish for guests wanting to target them. Topwater action was decent early with lots of blow ups and fish to 20" taking Super Spooks.
