Tides remain very high and fishing remains really good. That would be the headline coming off the weekend. Capt. James Cunningham got right into it with guests of Bill's Trucking our of San Antonio with hot limits of Redfish and a few Trout. Capt. Chris Cady, Capt. Donnie Heath, and Capt. Braden Proctor also checked some solid action on Redfish buldging the slot with Trout pushing 20".
Airboat Redfishing Trips
Capt. Chris Cady said schools are tightening up deep in the back marsh with high tides pushing the fish to the extreme shallows. Black Drum aren't mixing well yet over the back lakes mud but you can be cooler temperatures will have them heading that direction!
Flounder Gigging Report
Capt. Braden Proctor managed a decent showing on solid Flounder working with the Barbosa family. Elevated tides have been complicating things with off color water and depth being an issue.
On The Horizon
It's the countdown to the beginning of the 2017 Texas Waterfowl Season starting November 4th. A cool snap or two should start setting the stage for a great opener. Come see us!
The fishing is always best when you can get away!
