Our last trips focused on working mid to deep shell pads with popping cork/shrimp looking for solid Trout action. Capt. Braden Proctor could do no wrong with guests of Charlie C. making productive drift after drift over submerged oyster shell.
What can you do except laugh and cry. It's a disaster of biblical proportions for so many and I can tell you the lack of revenue hasn't hardly begun to hit the local City & State levels and may not for another 30 to 90 days (tax collection windows).
Airboat trips have been a back lakes beat down with lots of fish pouring into the lakes. On low water look for them piled up in the deeper swales and guts.
All February thru the end of March will find some gritty Airboat fishing in primetime with mixed schools of Black Drum and Redfish making for big pulls and heavy fish boxes.
That's got lots of folks "feeling fishy" and we've been hitting the back lakes and shallow mud/grass bays with great folks from all over the State and Nation.
