Our most popular hunting trips frequently involve a morning or afternoon of bay fishing for Trout and Redfish. These combination trips offer the best of the Texas Mid-Coast and make for memories of a lifetime. We offer cast and blast combinations trips including a morning duck hunt followed by an action package afternoon fishing trip.
September finds us in hot wing shooting for early Teal then hitting the water mid-morning for fishing. On Dove hunts, we always fish the mornings then come back to the lodge and relax and retool for afternoon hunts. During the regular waterfowl season starting around the first of November, we typically hunt the mornings then come back to the lodge for a hearty lunch and retool for afternoon fishing adventures.
Night Vision hog hunts are a ton of fun, conducted at night over baited locations with professional blinds or spot and stalk during the September grain season. We shoot the latest generation of Night Vision using AR-15's in heavier calibers. We can add night activities like hog hunting or flounder gigging to any trip package.

We have excellent deer hunting opportunities on a private family owned ranch teeming with free range animals. While the mid-coast isn't known for producing massive deer, animals scoring upwards of 150 pts. and larger are possible. With free range animals, you never know if that personal best is getting ready to step out of the woods. Many years ago I became friends with Enrique Perez Sr. and he introduced me to duck hunting in North Eastern Mexico. Our friendship grew over the years as we helped him develop the lodge and business. We worked closely with him and his son Quique over the years referring numerous guests for some of the best wingshooting and liberal bag limits in the world. In 2013, Enrique Sr. passed away from a short battle with Cancer. Enrique's son Quique has stepped into his father's shoes and taken over the lodge and hunting operations. While I lost a dear friend and part of our extended family, Enrique's son Quique is a very capable hunter, business man, and son. As part of my extended family, we intend to help Quique continue to build a great waterfowl hunting venue for our guests.
